Eligibility Criteria for Financial Literacy Counselor

To be eligible for the UPGB FLC position, candidates must fulfill the following educational and experience requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must possess a Graduate degree from a recognized university. Preference will be given to those with a Master's degree in Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Sociology, Psychology, or Social Work.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in the local language, computer operations, and a strong interest in teaching/counseling.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience is required in any of the following:
  • Former banker with nationalized banks or RRBs.
  • Experience in NBFCs or financial institutions.
  • Experience as a Business Correspondent (BC) or BC Coordinator.
  • Minimum 3 years as a Director in RSETI or 5 years as a Faculty member.

Age Limit and Salary Details

Age Limit: The maximum age of the applicant should not exceed 65 years at the time of appointment.

Salary Package: Selected candidates will receive a fixed honorarium of Rs. 15,000/- per month. Additionally, miscellaneous expenses up to Rs. 3,000/- will be provided, totaling a monthly compensation of approximately Rs. 18,000/-.

Selection Process
