Eligibility for ASC Centre South Posts

- Fireman/Leading Fireman: Matriculation or equivalent with mandatory proficiency in fire appliance operation and maintenance.
- Fire Engine Driver: Matriculation, must hold a valid heavy vehicle driving license, and possess at least 3 years of driving experience.
- Librarian: Matriculation or equivalent with trade proficiency.
Age Limit: Candidates must be aged between 18 and 25 years. Age relaxation is applicable for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PWD/ESM) as per prevailing Government of India rules.
Physical Standards for Fireman Roles
Candidates applying for Fireman, Leading Fireman, and Fire Engine Driver posts must meet the following physical benchmarks:
- Height: 165 cm (2.5 cm relaxation for ST candidates).
- Chest: 81.5 cm (unexpanded) to 85 cm (expanded).
- Endurance: Must complete the Fireman lift, rope climb, and long jump tests.
