Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) under NESTS, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, has announced recruitment for 37 Teaching and Non-Teaching positions across two institutions in Senapati District, Manipur: EMRS Liyai Khunou (Paomata) and EMRS Oinam (Purul). These positions are purely on a temporary, outsourced, or guest-teacher basis for the Academic Session 2026-27, or until regular staff are posted by NESTS, whichever is earlier.

Interested and eligible candidates can obtain and submit the application forms offline from 14th September 2026 until 25th September 2026.

Vacancy Details and School Distribution

The vacancies are distributed across two school branches in Senapati district as follows:

1. EMRS Liyai Khunou, Paomata (Total: 18 Posts)

2. EMRS Oinam, Purul (Total: 19 Posts)

Eligibility Criteria

Teaching Posts

• TGT (Mathematics/English/Hindi/Science/Social Science): Bachelor's Degree in the relevant subject from a recognized university, B.Ed degree, and passing of CTET Paper-II (or State TET where permissible under NESTS guidelines).
• Physical Education Teacher (PET): Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed) or equivalent as per NESTS norms.
• Fine Art/Arts Teacher: Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts / Drawing / Painting / Sculpture / Visual Art or equivalent.

Non-Teaching Posts

• Accountant: B.Com from a recognized University. Desirable knowledge of Tally/accounting software and computers.
• Staff Nurse: B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing, registered with the State Nursing Council. Hospital experience is preferred.
• Hostel Warden (Male/Female): Bachelor's Degree in any stream. Experience in hostel or residential school management is preferred. Age preference: 25 to 35 years.
• Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA): Class 12th passed with a typing speed of 35 w.p.m. in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi.
• Electrician-cum-Plumber: Class 10th pass with ITI / Polytechnic Certificate in Electrician/Wireman trade.
• Cook, Mess Helper, Chowkidar, Sweeper: Class 10th pass with relevant practical experience in their respective domains.

How to Apply (Offline Process)

Since this recruitment process is entirely offline, candidates must strictly follow these instructions to submit their applications:

1. Identify the school and the respective administrative office where you wish to apply:
   • For EMRS Liyai Khunou: SDO Paomata Office, DC Complex, Senapati, Manipur.
   • For EMRS Oinam: SDO Purul Office, DC Complex, Senapati, Manipur.
2. Visit the respective SDO office in person between 14th September 2026 and 25th September 2026 to obtain the physical application form.
3. Fill out the application form completely with accurate details.
4. Attach self-attested copies of required academic qualifications, identity proof, experience certificates, and Category/Caste certificates.
5. Submit the completed form back to the same SDO office before the closing date (25th September 2026).
