RRB NTPC Syllabus and Exam Pattern 2026
To succeed in the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) examination, candidates must have a clear understanding of the syllabus and exam structure. The recruitment process for 2026 (CEN 06/2025 and 07/2025) covers various Graduate and Undergraduate posts including Station Master, Goods Train Manager, and Senior Clerk cum Typist across approximately 8,860+ vacancies.
RRB NTPC Selection Process 2026
The selection process is designed to test the candidates' aptitude and technical knowledge through multiple stages:
- Stage 1: First Stage Computer Based Test (CBT 1) - Screening Round
- Stage 2: Second Stage Computer Based Test (CBT 2) - Merit Ranking Round
- Stage 3: Computer Based Aptitude Test (CBAT) or Typing Skill Test (as per post requirement)
- Stage 4: Document Verification and Medical Examination
RRB NTPC Exam Pattern for CBT 1 & CBT 2
Both stages of the CBT will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions. There is a negative marking of 1/3 mark for every wrong answer.
