Salary and Remuneration Structure

The payment for Inquiry Officers is based on the complexity of the inquiry (number of witnesses):

• Lump Sum Fee: ₹30,000 (up to 5 witnesses), ₹40,000 (6-10 witnesses), or ₹50,000 (more than 10 witnesses).
• Secretarial Assistance: ₹5,000 to ₹10,000 per inquiry.
• Transport Allowance: ₹1,000 to ₹1,750 per sitting based on the distance from residence.
• Joint Inquiries: An additional 50% of the lump sum amount is payable if more than two charged officers are involved.
