The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) published the official reserve list for the Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandants) Examination, 2024, on 12 June 2026. Following a requisition from the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), 55 candidates have been recommended for appointment to the post of Assistant Commandant. Additionally, four candidates have been included in the merit list in compliance with the Delhi High Court judgment in WP(C) No. 8304/2025.

All 55 recommended candidates, as well as the four additional appointees, should note that their final selection is subject to the outcome of the pending litigation in WP(C) No. 5877/2022 (Diwakar Pande & Ors. vs. Ministry of Home Affairs & Ors.) before the Hon'ble High Court of Delhi.
