The Advanced Systems Laboratory (ASL), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO), has released an official recruitment notification for the posts of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA). Eligibility Criteria & Academic Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill the specified educational requirements to be considered for screening:

• For JRF Posts (Post No. 01 to 04): First Class B.E. / B.Tech degree in the relevant discipline with a valid GATE score. OR First Class M.E. / M.Tech degree in the relevant engineering branch with first division at both Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
• For RA Post (Post No. 05): Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering. OR first-class M.E. / M.Tech in Electronics with a minimum of 3 years of proven research, design, development, or teaching experience in a recognized institution, accompanied by research publications.

Age Limit and Relaxations

The upper age limit is calculated as of the last date of application submission:

• Maximum Age: 35 Years
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Relaxation: Up to 3 years
• SC / ST Relaxation: Up to 5 years

Monthly Fellowship & Stipend

Selected fellows will receive a consolidated monthly stipend along with applicable allowances as per DRDO regulations:

• Junior Research Fellow (JRF): Rs. 37,000/- per month + HRA as admissible
• Research Associate (RA): Rs. 67,000/- per month + HRA as admissible

Selection Methodology

The applications received will undergo initial screening based on academic performance, GATE score validity, and relevant experience. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in the selection rounds:

1. Screening & Shortlisting: Based on qualifications, marks, and GATE scores.
2. Written Test / Personal Interview: Scheduled at the Advanced Systems Laboratory facility to evaluate research aptitude and technical competence.
3. Document Verification: Verification of original certificates, degrees, and identification.
