Eligibility Criteria for DRDO CVRDE Internship 2026-27

Educational Qualification

• Candidates must be regular students pursuing engineering degree courses from recognized Indian Universities or Institutes.
• B.E./B.Tech students studying in their 7th or 8th semester are eligible.
• M.E./M.Tech students studying in their 1st or 2nd year are eligible.
• Students must belong to the relevant engineering disciplines mentioned in the notification.

Age Limit

• The candidate's age should be below 28 years as on 01 July 2026.

Academic Qualification Requirement

• Minimum 85% marks or 8.5 CGPA on a scale of 10.
• A minimum of 8.5 CGPA should be maintained continuously in previous semesters.

DRDO CVRDE Paid Internship Stipend

Selected students will receive a stipend of ₹5,000 per month for the six-month internship period. The total stipend of ₹30,000 will be paid in two slabs of three months duration each, with each slab carrying ₹15,000. Payments will be credited directly into the student's bank account.

DRDO CVRDE Internship 2026 Selection Process

The selection for the Paid Internship Scheme will be entirely based on merit, considering the academic performance of the applicants. Shortlisted candidates will be informed through their registered email ID, along with detailed joining instructions. No written examination or interview will be conducted for this internship.

How to Apply for DRDO CVRDE Paid Internship 2026-27 (Offline Mode)

Candidates must submit their applications offline via Speed Post, Courier, or Registered Post. Follow these steps:

1. Download Application Form: Obtain the prescribed application form format from the official DRDO website.
2. Fill Details: Complete the application form accurately with all required personal and academic details.
3. Attach Documents: Gather all necessary self-attested copies of documents as specified in the notification.
4. Prepare Envelope: Place the filled application form and attached documents inside an envelope.
5. Address Envelope: Clearly mention "Application for Paid Internship" and the relevant branch code number on the top of the envelope.
6. Send Application: Dispatch the completed application through Speed Post, Courier, or Registered Post to the address mentioned in the official notification. Ensure it reaches before the last date.
