The Fluid Control Research Institute (FCRI), an autonomous body under the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, has released a notification for the direct recruitment of 19 positions, comprising Research Engineer (RE) and Junior Research Engineer (JRE) roles. Candidates must possess a regular full-time degree from a UGC/AICTE-recognized institution with a minimum of 65% marks (60% for SC/ST candidates).
- Research Engineer: B.E./B.Tech with 5 years of relevant experience or M.E./M.Tech with 3 years of relevant experience in the specific specialization.
- Junior Research Engineer: B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines. Freshers are eligible. Candidates awaiting final results may apply provided they submit proof of passing by August 31, 2026.

Selection Process
The selection process varies by post:
- Research Engineer: Based on a personal interview.
- Junior Research Engineer: A two-stage process involving an online MCQ-based written test (100 questions, 120 minutes) followed by an interview. The final merit list is prepared with 80% weightage given to the written test and 20% to the interview.
