The Indian Army has released the official notification for the 125th NCC Special Entry Scheme for unmarried women, including Wards of Battle Casualties. Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure they meet the following requirements before submitting their application:
- Age Limit: 19 to 25 years as of 01 January 2027.
- Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. Final-year students are eligible to apply provided their degree is completed by 01 April 2027.
- NCC Criteria: Minimum 'B' Grade in NCC 'C' Certificate examination. Serving for at least two/three years in the Senior Division/Wing of NCC is mandatory.
- Marital Status: Only unmarried female candidates are eligible.
Selection Process
The selection follows a multi-stage procedure:
- Shortlisting: Based on the percentage of marks obtained in the degree course and NCC 'C' Certificate grade.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates undergo a five-day selection process consisting of psychological, group, and personal interview tasks.
- Medical Examination: Recommended candidates must clear the medical board evaluation.
- Merit List: Final selection is based on the cumulative marks secured at the SSB and medical fitness.
