The National Skill Training Institute (NSTI), Kanpur, under the Directorate General of Training (DGT), Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, has invited applications for the engagement of Guest Faculty for CITS and CTS trades for the 2026-27 academic session. This is a temporary engagement opportunity offered on a per-hour remuneration basis.
Candidates must possess trade-specific qualifications, which generally include a relevant Degree, Diploma, or NTC/NAC certificate along with the mandatory CITS qualification and specified post-qualification experience. Ex-servicemen with 15 years of service and DGR-approved equivalency are also eligible. The minimum age for all applicants is 21 years as of 01 August 2026.
Guest faculty members will be compensated based on the following hourly rates, subject to a monthly maximum ceiling:
