PHED Mizoram Recruitment 2026 for Technician, Electric Lineman and Switchboard Operator Posts

The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) Mizoram has released an official notification for the recruitment of Technician, Electric Lineman, and Switchboard Operator positions. A total of 6 contractual vacancies have been announced under Advt No. 4 of 2026. • Technician (SCADA) (PE): 2 Posts (Level-5: Rs. 19,170/- per month)
• Switchboard Operator (PE): 2 Posts (Level-5: Rs. 19,170/- per month)
• Electric Lineman (PE): 2 Posts (Level-4: Rs. 16,920/- per month)

Eligibility Criteria and Qualifications

Candidates must ensure they fulfill the educational and technical requirements before submitting their applications:

• Technician (SCADA) (PE): HSSLC with ITI Certificate in Electrician, Electronic Mechanic, COPA, or ICTSM. Mizo language proficiency test and basic computer knowledge (CCC or equivalent 80 hours) are mandatory.
• Switchboard Operator (PE): HSLC with ITI Certificate in Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, or Wireman along with a workman license. Mizo language proficiency and basic computer knowledge are required.
• Electric Lineman (PE): HSLC with ITI Certificate in Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, or Wireman along with a workman license. Mizo language proficiency and basic computer knowledge are required.

Age Limit and Relaxations

Applicants must be between 18 and 35 years of age. Age relaxations are applicable as per DP&AR(GSW) OM guidelines.
