Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India as per Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution.
- Educational Qualification: Passed Class VI standard from a recognized school.
- Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026): Minimum 18 years and Maximum 32 years.
- Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates (up to 37 years). PWD candidate relaxation is governed by Office Memorandum PER(AR)150/88/560 dated 18.01.2023.
- Acceptable Proof of Age: Birth Certificate issued by Municipal Board / Department of Health & Family Welfare, School Certificate, or H.S.L.C. Admit Card. No other proof will be accepted.

Selection Process & Examination Pattern
Selection will be made solely based on performance in a written examination conducted by the Departmental Selection Committee. Pursuant to Office Memorandum PER(AR)58/2024/36, there will be no interview stage.
