Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

Applicants must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements set by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and University of Delhi for the position of Assistant Professor:

• Master's Degree: Candidate must hold a Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever grading system is followed) in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• National Eligibility Test (NET): Clearance of NET conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC (such as SLET/SET).
• Exemption from NET: Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time, are exempted from NET qualification.

Pay Scale & Honorarium

The selected candidate will be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum ceiling of Rs. 50,000 per month as per UGC and Delhi University guidelines for guest faculty appointments.

Selection Process

There will be no written examination for this engagement. Selection will be based on:

1. Direct Walk-in Interview: Evaluation of academic track record, teaching proficiency, and domain knowledge by the interview board.
2. Document Verification: Immediate verification of original academic credentials, certificates, and identity proof on the day of the interview.

Reporting & Walk-In Interview Guidelines

Candidates preparing to attend the walk-in interview must adhere to the following procedure:

• Reach the interview venue at Kamala Nehru College, August Kranti Marg, New Delhi well before the reporting time specified in the official notification.
• Bring all original certificates and testimonials starting from Matriculation (10th) up to Post-Graduation/Ph.D. for physical verification.
• Carry one set of self-attested photocopies of all educational marksheets, degree certificates, UGC NET certificate, experience letters, and category certificate (if applicable).
