Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification
Applicants must fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements set by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and University of Delhi for the position of Assistant Professor:
- Master's Degree: Candidate must hold a Master's degree with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever grading system is followed) in the relevant subject from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- National Eligibility Test (NET): Clearance of NET conducted by UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by UGC (such as SLET/SET).
- Exemption from NET: Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree in accordance with the UGC Regulations, 2009 or 2016 and their amendments from time to time, are exempted from NET qualification.
Pay Scale & Honorarium
The selected candidate will be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum ceiling of Rs. 50,000 per month as per UGC and Delhi University guidelines for guest faculty appointments.
Selection Process
