The State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam is scheduled to declare the results for the Pre-Entry Test (PET) 2026 on 27 July 2026. Steps to Access Assam D.El.Ed PET 2026 Scorecard
- Visit the official SCERT PET portal at scertpet.co.in.
- Locate the notification link for "PET 2026 Result" or "Merit List" on the homepage.
- Use your registered mobile number and date of birth to log in.
- Once authenticated, your scorecard containing marks and rank will be displayed.
- Download and print the document, as it is mandatory for the forthcoming counselling and document verification rounds.
Counselling and Seat Allotment Process
Following the declaration of results, SCERT Assam will initiate an online counselling process. Admission into NCTE-recognised Teacher Education Institutes (TEIs), including DIETs, CTEs, and private colleges, will be strictly based on the district-wise merit list generated from PET scores. Candidates are advised to prepare their preferred list of institutes in advance. Seat distribution follows a reservation policy of 30% for Science stream and 70% for Arts and other streams.

- Verification: There is a negative marking of 0.25 for every incorrect answer; scores are calculated accordingly.
