The Physical Efficiency Test (PET) was originally scheduled to commence on 8 September 2026. However, due to continuous and heavy rainfall across various parts of Uttar Pradesh, the board postponed the physical test. To ensure safe track conditions and candidate safety, the PET will now officially begin on 14 September 2026. Consequently, a revised admit card will be issued by the board.

Registered candidates must download the revised admit card online by following these step-by-step instructions:

1. Navigate to the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board at uppbpb.gov.in.
2. On the homepage, locate and click the notice link designated for 'Revised Home Guard PET Admit Card 2026'.
3. You will be redirected to the candidate login portal.
4. Enter your unique Registration Number and Date of Birth (DD/MM/YYYY) in the required fields.
5. Click the 'Submit' button to access your digital hall ticket.
6. Review all specified details, including the newly assigned physical exam venue, report date, and batch shift time.
7. Download the PDF and print a high-resolution, clear copy on an A4 sheet.

Mandatory Documents to Carry to the PET Venue

Candidates must present the following documents at the entry gate of their allotted PAC Vahini or Reserve Police Lines venue. Candidates without these items will be denied entry:

• Printed Copy of Revised Admit Card: Only the revised admit card downloaded on or after 10 September 2026 is valid. Admit cards issued before 7 September 2026 will not be accepted.
• Valid Photo Identification: Original government-issued ID card such as Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, or Driving License.
• Photographs: Two recent passport-sized color photographs matching the one uploaded in the application.

Important Exam Day Guidelines

• Venue Re-allocation: Double-check the physical venue listed on your revised admit card, as the test location may have changed from the previous schedule.
• Reporting Time: Arrive at least one hour before the official gate-closure time mentioned on the admit card. Latecomers will not be accommodated under any circumstances.
