The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the admit cards for the Government Inter College (GIC) Lecturer Preliminary Examination, scheduled for 14 June and 17 June 2026. Candidates who have successfully submitted their applications for the 1,516 available vacancies can now access their hall tickets via the official UPPSC portal.

Steps to Download the UPPSC GIC Lecturer Admit Card

To ensure a smooth entry into the examination hall, candidates should download and print their admit cards well in advance. Follow these steps:

  • Visit the official UPPSC website at uppsc.up.nic.in.
  • Navigate to the 'Candidate’s Corner' or 'Download Admit Card' tab.
  • Select the link titled 'UPPSC GIC Lecturer Admit Card 2026'.
  • Input your Registration Number, Date of Birth, and Gender as provided during the application process.
  • Complete the security verification (Captcha) and click the 'Submit' button.
  • Review the details displayed on the screen and download the PDF.
  • Print at least two copies of the admit card for backup.

Important Exam Day Requirements

Candidates must carry a hard copy of their admit card and a valid photo identification proof to the designated exam center. Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • Aadhaar Card
  • Voter ID Card
  • Driving License
  • PAN Card
  • Passport

Note: Electronic gadgets such as mobile phones, smartwatches, and calculators are strictly prohibited inside the examination premises. Reach the center at least 45 to 60 minutes before the commencement of the exam, as entry is prohibited 45 minutes before the start time.

Upon downloading, verify all personal details, including your name, photograph, and exam center address. If you notice any errors, contact the UPPSC helpdesk immediately to request a correction before the exam date. Do not wait until the day of the examination to address administrative issues.
