Educational Qualification

Salary and Remuneration

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly wage calculated as per the current CPC Level-1 basic pay, along with Dearness Allowance (DA) as per government rules. The remuneration for an 8-hour working day is determined as 1/30th of the basic pay + DA of the relevant pay scale, with proportional deductions for unauthorized absence. A 3% annual increment in basic pay is admissible, subject to satisfactory performance reviewed half-yearly. House Rent Allowance (HRA) will be payable if AWEIL does not provide residential quarters. Selected candidates are also eligible for Employees' Provident Fund (EPF) and are covered under the Employees' Compensation Act, 1923.

Selection Process

The selection for GSF Kashipur Recruitment 2026 will be based purely on merit, following these stages:

5. Medical Fitness Test: Finally, selected candidates must undergo a medical fitness test before formal appointment.

In case of a tie in marks, preference will be given in the following order: (i) prior trade apprentice of GSF Kashipur, (ii) prior trade apprentice of other Ordnance Factories, (iii) higher marks in NCVT, and (iv) older date of birth.
