Detailed Exam Pattern

Phase 1: Preliminary Examination

Phase 2: Main Examination

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Final Merit (Main Exam Paper 2):

• General category candidates: 40%

Phase 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Candidates shortlisted from the Main exam (approximately 6 times the number of vacancies) will appear for the PET. This stage is qualifying in nature.

• Candidates receive three attempts for High Jump, Long Jump, and Shot Put.
• Failure to complete the race within the stipulated time disqualifies candidates from further events.
• Qualification in each event is mandatory.
• Married women candidates found pregnant at the time of medical examination/PET will be declared ineligible.

Final Merit List

The final merit list will be prepared category-wise, exclusively based on the marks secured in Main Written Examination Paper 2. Tie-breaking criteria, in order of preference, are: older date of birth, higher educational qualification, and alphabetical order of name (as per 10th certificate).
