Candidates must possess a Master's degree in the relevant subject with at least 55% marks from an Indian University or an accredited foreign university. In addition to the academic degree, candidates must have cleared the NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by UGC/CSIR or possess a Ph.D. degree as per UGC Regulations 2018.
