Eligibility for CFA Trade Apprentice

Candidates must ensure they meet the criteria as of the closing date, 2026-07-31:

• Age Limit: Minimum 18 years; Maximum 35 years.
• Non-ITI Category: Class 10 (Matriculation) with at least 50% aggregate marks, and at least 40% marks in both Mathematics and Science.
• ITI Category: Class 10 pass with 50% marks plus ITI certificate in the relevant trade from NCVT/SCVT with a minimum of 50% marks.
• Restriction: Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or possess a National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) are ineligible.

Selection Process

The factory will prepare a merit list based on academic performance:

• Non-ITI Candidates: Merit based on the average percentage of marks obtained in Class 10.
• ITI Candidates: Merit based on the simple average of percentage marks in both Class 10 and the ITI examination.

In case of a tie, the older candidate is given preference, followed by the year of passing the matriculation examination.
