Vacancy and Reservation Details

Eligibility for IAF MTS Posts

Candidates must meet the following criteria to be considered for the selection process:

• Educational Qualification: Must have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. Possession of one year of experience in relevant trades like Watchman, Gardener, or Lascar is considered a desirable qualification.
• Age Limit: Candidates must be between 18 and 25 years of age as of the closing date of application.
• Age Relaxation: Standard relaxations apply: OBC (3 years), SC/ST (5 years), PwBD (up to 15 years for SC/ST category), and Ex-Servicemen as per government regulations.

Selection Process and Written Examination

The selection is based entirely on a written test. No interview stage is conducted. The written examination evaluates candidates across four sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness. Only those candidates who successfully pass the application scrutiny regarding age and educational documents will be issued call letters for the test.
