Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualification

To be eligible for the Research Associate-I (Project) position at NBRC, applicants must fulfill the following essential criteria:

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a Ph.D., MD, MS, MDS, or an equivalent doctoral degree in Science or relevant biological/biomedical sciences discipline from a recognized university or institute.
• Desirable Experience: Prior research experience in neurobiology, brain research, molecular biology, or related techniques supported by scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals will be given preference.

Age Limit

The upper age limit for Research Associate-I (Project) is 40 years as on the last date of application submission (16 September 2026). Age relaxation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and female candidates as per Central Government standards.

Salary Structure & Benefits

Selected candidates will receive a consolidated stipend of ₹58,000/- per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as permissible under NBRC rules and project guidelines.
