PFRDA Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) Recruitment 2026 Overview
The Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has released an official notification (Advertisement No. 03/2026) for the recruitment of 30 Officer Grade 'A' (Assistant Manager) posts. Online applications are open for various streams including General, Research, Actuary, and Official Language (Rajbhasha). PFRDA Grade A Eligibility Criteria (As of 31.07.2026)

2. Age Limit & Relaxations
The maximum age limit is 30 years as on July 31, 2026 (i.e., the candidate must have been born on or after August 1, 1996). Cumulative relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved categories:
- SC / ST: 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 Years
- PwBD (General): 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years
PFRDA Officer Grade A Salary & Allowances
Selected candidates will be placed in the pay scale of Rs. 62,500 - 1,26,100. The approximate gross monthly emoluments (including Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, and Housing Allowance) at the minimum of the scale will be approximately Rs. 2,05,000 per month.
Additional benefits include medical expense reimbursement, leave travel concession, accident insurance, computer allowance, and child education support.
Selection Process
The recruitment process consists of three highly structured phases:
- Phase I (Online Screening Exam): Consists of two papers (Paper 1: Multiple choice aptitude questions; Paper 2: Stream-specific online test). A negative marking of 1/4th of the marks assigned to the question is applicable. Phase I marks are qualifying in nature.
- Phase II (Online Main Exam): Consists of Paper 1 (Descriptive English test checking writing skills) and Paper 2 (Objective stream-specific questions). This phase determines shortlisting for the final interview.
- Phase III (Interview): Conducted for selected candidates. The final merit list is calculated with 85% weightage given to Phase II marks and 15% weightage given to Phase III Interview scores.
