How to Proceed: Reporting Instructions for Additional Candidates

All candidates whose names appear in the additional appointment order dated September 4, 2026, must follow these instructions diligently:

1. In-person Reporting: Report physically to ITI Morwadi within 10 days from the date of the order, i.e., by September 14, 2026.
2. Appointment Processing: Only candidates who report within the stipulated 10-day period will have their appointment processed as per rules against the vacant posts.
3. Absence Clause: Failure to report within the specified timeframe will result in the cancellation of the appointment offer for that post.
4. Merit-Rank Priority (Specific Trades): For D. Civil and MMV trades under the Open category, the merit-rank-1 candidate must report first. The appointment of the rank-2 candidate will only be considered if the rank-1 candidate fails to report.
5. NAPS Portal Contract Agreement: Every appointed candidate is mandated to complete an online Contract Agreement on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) Portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in) as per the Apprentices Act, 1961. Appointment will not be granted without this agreement.
6. Contract Termination: Once a Contract Agreement is registered on the NAPS Portal, it cannot be terminated under any circumstances, as per the official order.

Mandatory Documents for Verification

Appointment is contingent upon successful verification of information provided on the NAPS Portal and the following documents. Any discrepancy will lead to immediate cancellation of appointment:

• Educational qualification certificates matching the trade applied for (as per DGT norms).
• ITI pass certificate.
• Caste certificate, if applicable.
• Aadhaar card.
• Bank account details, ensuring the bank account and Aadhaar are seeded/DBT enabled.
• NAPS Portal registration and online application documents (scanned copies, self-attested).
• Self-attested signature and bank passbook copy (to be submitted within two days of joining the assigned department).

Important Terms and Conditions for PCMC Apprenticeship

• Duration: This appointment is for a fixed period of one year (twelve months) and will automatically terminate upon completion.
• No Claim for Permanent Post: The training period does not confer any right or claim to a permanent position in PCMC's establishment. Candidates must provide a written undertaking to this effect before joining.
• Apprenticeship Certificate: Apprentices must maintain regular attendance and complete the full training period to be eligible for an Apprenticeship Certificate.
• No Other Employment: Apprentices must remain in their assigned department for the entire training period and are prohibited from taking up any other temporary job elsewhere.
• Discipline: Absence or misconduct during training can lead to removal without prior notice or compensation.
• Leave Entitlements: Apprentices are entitled to 8 casual leave days and 14 medical leave days for the full training year.
• Work Scope: Apprentices cannot be assigned shift-based work and must perform only duties related to their designated trade. Any deviation can be reported to ITI Morwadi.
• Work Diary: A daily Work Diary must be maintained, checked, and signed by a senior officer every five days.
• Exam Eligibility: 100% attendance is mandatory to become eligible for the apprenticeship exam after the one-year period.
• Attendance System: Attendance must be marked through the office’s biometric/thumb system. Staying or working outside official hours is not permitted, and no facilities are provided for such.
• Termination Rights: The Principal, ITI Morwadi, as the appointing authority, reserves the right to terminate any apprentice's appointment at any time under special circumstances.
• Health and Damages: PCMC is not responsible for an apprentice's illness during training. Conversely, any loss caused to PCMC due to an apprentice's mistake will be recovered from the apprentice.
• Age Limit for Benefits: Candidates above 35 years of age are not eligible for MAPS/NAPS Claim or any DBT benefit, as per government policy.
• Bank-Aadhaar Seeding: If a selected candidate’s bank-Aadhaar seeding/DBT is not enabled during the Contract Agreement generation, their appointment will be cancelled.
• Previous Apprenticeship: Candidates who have previously completed an apprenticeship or executed a Contract Agreement at any other establishment will have their appointment cancelled.
• Trade Mismatch: If the trade mentioned in the advertisement/NAPS Portal differs from the trade documents presented in person, the appointment will not be given, or if already given, will be cancelled at any stage.
