GGSGH Delhi Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: Walk-In for 26 Vacancies

Guru Gobind Singh Government Hospital (GGSGH), under the Government of NCT of Delhi, has announced a recruitment notification for the appointment of Senior Residents on an ad-hoc basis. A total of 26 vacancies are distributed across multiple medical specialties, including Pediatrics, Anesthesia, Radiology, and Medicine. Eligible medical professionals can attend the walk-in interview scheduled for 7 September 2026.

The 26 vacancies are allocated across various medical departments as outlined below:

Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications

Candidates intending to participate in the walk-in recruitment process must satisfy the following mandatory educational and registration norms:

• Primary Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized university or institution.
• Specialty Qualification: Post Graduate Degree, Diploma, or DNB in the concerned medical specialty.
• Alternative Experience Qualification: In the absence of a PG qualification, candidates possessing at least three years of working experience in the concerned specialty in a recognized institution will be considered.
• Registration: Candidates must hold a valid and active registration certificate issued by the Delhi Medical Council (DMC) at the time of the interview.
• Residency Constraint: Candidates who have already completed three years of Senior Residency in any recognized government or private institution (on a regular or ad-hoc basis) are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit and Pay Scale

Age Limit (As on Interview Date)

• Maximum Age: 45 Years.
• Age Relaxation: Relaxation in upper age limits for reserved category applicants (such as SC, ST, and OBC) will be granted as per official guidelines issued by the Government of NCT of Delhi.

Salary Structure

Appointed Senior Residents will receive remuneration under Pay Matrix Level-11:

• Pay Scale: Rs. 67,700 - Rs. 2,08,700 per month.
• Allowances: In addition to the basic salary, other standard allowances admissible under Delhi Government rules will be provided.

Selection Methodology

The recruitment process does not involve any written examination. Selection is strictly determined through the following stages:

1. Walk-In Interview: Performance evaluation by the selection committee on the scheduled date.
2. Document Verification: Scrutiny of original academic records, registration certificates, and identity proof.
3. Medical Fitness Examination: Final selected candidates will undergo a medical check-up before the assignment.

Walk-In Interview Reporting & Venue Guidelines

Eligible candidates must physically report to the designated venue with their application forms and supporting certificates on 7 September 2026. Late entries beyond the specified registration hours will not be entertained.
