Eligibility Criteria: Who Can Participate in Round 2?

Not all registered candidates are treated the same way in Round 2. Only candidates who fall into the following categories are eligible to proceed with choice filling:

• New Registrants: Qualified NEET UG 2026 candidates who did not register or participate in Round 1.
• No Allotment in Round 1: Registered candidates in Round 1 who were not allocated any seat.
• Upgradation/Float Candidates: Candidates who secured a seat in Round 1, selected the "Float" (Upgradation) option during admission, and seek a higher preference college. If no upgrade is assigned, their Round 1 seat remains protected.
