Tata Institute of Fundamental Research (TIFR) has announced an official recruitment notification (Advt. No. 2026/24) for the engagement of Tradesman Trainees (Trade Apprentices) across multiple technical disciplines. A total of 10 vacancies will be filled through direct walk-in selection scheduled for 30 September 2026. Selected candidates will undergo apprenticeship training with a prescribed monthly stipend as per government regulations.

Selection will be carried out entirely through direct walk-in evaluation. No written entrance examination will be conducted. Candidates will be assessed on their academic merit, trade knowledge, and document verification during the interview session.
