Mandatory Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must satisfy three specific administrative rules criteria established by the Government of Arunachal Pradesh:
- Permanent Residence: Must hold a valid Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) of Arunachal Pradesh.
- Indigenous Status: Must belong to the Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe (APST).
- Language Proficiency: Must have proficiency in speaking an Indigenous Tribal Language of Arunachal Pradesh along with operational working knowledge of local indigenous customs.
Educational Qualifications (Post-wise)
- Agriculture Development Officer: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Agriculture from a recognized University.
- Horticulture Development Officer: Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Horticulture from a recognized University.
- Veterinary Officer: Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) with mandatory registration under the Arunachal Pradesh State Veterinary Council (required by document verification).
- Assistant Director (Sericulture): Bachelor's degree in Science (B.Sc.) alongside a Post Graduate Diploma in Sericulture.
- Dairy Development Officer: Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Dairy Technology, or B.Sc. in Dairying/Dairy Technology, or a 4-year B.Sc./B.Tech. in Food Technology, B.Sc. in Microbial & Food Technology, or B.Tech. in Bio-Technology.
Note: Final year/semester appearing students may apply, provided they produce their final qualifying degree in original at the time of viva-voce.
Age Limit & Relaxations
The crucial cut-off date for determining the age limit is September 30, 2026.

Selection Process & Examination Scheme
The recruitment process involves a written examination followed by viva-voce. In the event of a high volume of applications, an Objective Type Recruitment Test (Screening) of 200 marks may be conducted to shortlist candidates for the written examination.
Written Examination Scheme (500 Marks Total):
- General English & General Studies (Objective Type): 150 Marks (Qualifying criteria applies)
- Concerned Technical Subject Paper-I (Descriptive/Subjective Type): 150 Marks
- Concerned Technical Subject Paper-II (Descriptive/Subjective Type): 150 Marks
- Viva-voce / Personal Interview: 50 Marks
Qualifying Standards: Candidates must secure an aggregate of at least 33% in the written exam (with a minimum of 20% in each individual paper) to qualify for the Interview. Relaxed standards apply to PwBD candidates (20% aggregate with 10% in each paper).
