C-DAC Chennai Recruitment 2026 Overview

The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Chennai, which operates as a scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has issued an official recruitment notification (Advt. These positions are purely on a contract basis for an initial duration of up to 2 years, or co-terminus with the duration of the assigned project. Depending on project requirements and individual performance, the contract period may be extended further.

Post-wise Eligibility Criteria & Salaries

1. Project Associate (Fresher) - Post Code: CDACC/PA/CHN/01

• Upper Age Limit: 30 Years
• Post-Qualification Experience: Nil (Freshers can apply)
• Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics.
• Desirable Skills: Java (J2SE, J2EE), Dot Net, CSS, HTML, jQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, Web Services (REST, SOAP), and English/Hindi communication.
• Remuneration: Consolidated pay of ₹34,000/- per month (Minimum CTC of ₹5.06 Lakhs Per Annum).

2. Project Engineer (Experienced) - Post Code: CDACC/PE/CHN/02

• Upper Age Limit: 45 Years
• Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 1 year of relevant experience.
• Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA in Computer Science / Information Technology / Electronics & Communication / Electrical & Electronics.
• Desirable Skills: Backend/Java Ecosystem, Frontend development, Databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB), AI/Data Science, Computer Networking, or Hardware Security and Cryptography.
• Remuneration: Consolidated pay of ₹40,000/- per month (Minimum CTC of ₹5.89 Lakhs Per Annum; exact salary based on qualifications and experience).

3. Senior Project Engineer - Post Code: CDACC/SPE/CHN/03

• Upper Age Limit: 40 Years
• Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech with 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) in CS/IT/ECE/EEE, or Master’s degree in Computer Applications (MCA) with 60% marks.
• Work Profile: Leading small technical teams, system design/development, system integration, and software validation.
• Remuneration: Consolidated pay of ₹60,000/- per month (Minimum CTC of ₹8.65 Lakhs Per Annum).

4. Project Manager - Post Code: CDACC/PM/CHN/04

• Upper Age Limit: 56 Years
• Post-Qualification Experience: Minimum 9 years of relevant experience.
• Educational Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.E / M.Tech / MCA / M.Sc / PhD in Computer Science / IT / ECE / EEE with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Specialized Skills: Cyber Security, Industrial Control Systems (ICS/SCADA), Network firewalls, and technical project management methodologies (JIRA/Asana).
• Remuneration: Consolidated pay of ₹90,000/- per month (Minimum CTC of ₹12.80 Lakhs Per Annum).

Selection Methodology
