BRIC-THSTI Walk-In Interview Notification 2026 Overview

The BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI) has announced recruitment for multiple contractual positions including Assistant Data Manager, Project Research Scientist-II, Project Research Scientist-I, Project Assistant, and Project Technician. Candidates possessing the required educational qualification and post-qualification experience can participate in the Walk-in Interview schedule from September 16 to September 23, 2026.

Vacancy Details and Monthly Salary

Detailed Eligibility Criteria & Experience

1. Assistant Data Manager

• Educational Qualification: Post-Graduate degree in any discipline OR Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
• Experience: For Graduates, a minimum of two (2) years of post-qualification work experience in data entry, MIS, data analysis, computer science, or operations is mandatory.
• Desirable: Diploma/Certificate in IT or Computer Science, along with proficiency in MS Excel and database management systems.

2. Project Research Scientist-II

• Educational Qualification: Ph.D. in Life Sciences with focus on infectious diseases (preferably Tuberculosis) from a recognized university.
• Mandatory Requirement: Minimum of one (1) research article published in a peer-reviewed PubMed-indexed journal.

3. Project Research Scientist-I

• Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or related field with specific courses in data science, medical image analysis, or artificial intelligence (AI), along with programming skills in Python/R OR B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or Biotechnology from a recognized University.

4. Project Assistant

• Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in any branch of Life Sciences.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of hands-on experience in cell culture, BSL3 facilities, virus propagation, or molecular biology.

5. Project Technician

• Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in any branch of Life Sciences.
• Experience: At least two (2) years of relevant experience in cell culture, virus propagation, titration, or conducting scientific assays.

Candidates must report at the THSTI Campus on the specific date corresponding to the post they are applying for:

Age Limit & Relaxations

• Maximum Age Limit: 40 years for all the specified positions as on the date of interview.
• Age Relaxation: Relaxations apply to reserved categories as per Government of India guidelines (SC/ST by 5 years, OBC by 3 years, PwBD UR by 10 years, PwBD OBC by 13 years, and PwBD SC/ST by 15 years).
