Eligibility Criteria & Academic Qualifications
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must possess qualifications as prescribed for regular Assistant Professors in UGC Regulations as adopted by the University of Delhi.
- Masterโs Degree in English with a minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever grading system is followed) from a recognized Indian University or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
- Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC/CSIR or possess a Ph.D. degree in accordance with UGC Regulations.
- Minimum API Score Requirement: A minimum API (Academic Performance Indicator) score of 55 marks and above as per the guidelines for screening/shortlisting candidates for Assistant Professor appointments in DU colleges.
Salary and Honorarium Structure
The selected Guest Faculty members will be compensated strictly as per UGC and University of Delhi norms:
- Lecture Rate: Rs. 1,500/- per lecture.
- Maximum Monthly Ceiling: Subject to a maximum cap of Rs. 50,000/- per month.
Selection Process
Selection will be made solely through a direct screening and walk-in interview conducted by the Selection Committee at the college premises. No written examination will be held.
